A Johannesburg metro police officer has been arrested for the alleged possession of a stolen vehicle in Gauteng. Superintendent Lungelo Dlamini says the metro police officer was one of two people arrested on Allendale Road in Ivory Park yesterday afternoon after they were allegedly found in possession of a stolen vehicle. The two were spotted by police who checked the registration of the vehicle and found that it had been reported stolen. They are expected to appear in the Tembisa Magistrate's Court soon on a charge of possession of a stolen vehicle.
