The Airports Company of SA says it is investigating the theft of a woman's bag as she checked in at OR Tambo International, and the later theft from her bank account using her stolen bank cards. The Star reported that after Joyce Makuke's bag was stolen, she asked a security official to review the closed circuit television (CCTV) footage. She was told it was not working. She suspected foul play because when she returned with police they found the CCTV cameras were working. Her bag was stolen by a man in civillian clothes, and police are trying to identify him. Makuke says she does not know how the thief obtained her PIN numbers and withdrew money from her accounts. ACSA says security at OR Tambo is provided by G4 and Bosasa.
